The Janaza (funeral) prayer service for Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif “Latz” Kevin Ayodele, close friends and associates of boxing star Anthony Joshua, will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026. The service is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the London Central Mosque, located at 146 Park Road, London NW8 7RG.

Ghani and Ayodele tragically lost their lives in a road crash in Nigeria on December 29, 2025, when the Lexus SUV carrying Joshua collided with a stationary truck on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. Joshua, who sustained only minor injuries, is grappling with the loss of his strength and conditioning coach, Ghami, and his personal trainer, Ayodele, who were both pronounced dead at the scene.

A statement released by Boxing King Media on Saturday expressed condolences, stating, “Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones.” The funeral service will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and the boxing community to pay their final respects to the two men, whose contributions to the sport and their relationships with Joshua will be fondly remembered.
