“+1 Blessing!” — Simi Welcomes Second Child with Adekunle Gold

Nigerian Afrobeats star Simi has announced the birth of her second child with husband Adekunle Gold, bringing joy to fans and well-wishers.

The singer shared the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, revealing that the baby was born on March 10, 2026. Her announcement also put to rest earlier reports from January suggesting the couple had welcomed twins.

Simi, who described herself as a “proud mother of two,” expressed gratitude as she introduced the newest addition to her family. “+1. 3.10.26 God bless my little family #mommyof2,” she wrote.

The couple, who tied the knot in January 2019, welcomed their first child, Adejare, on May 30, 2020. Speculation about Simi’s second pregnancy had been building since December 2025, when she appeared with a visible baby bump in Adekunle Gold’s music video My Love Is The Same.

With the arrival of their second child, the celebrity couple continues to capture hearts as one of Nigeria’s most admired music families.
