Manchester United are reportedly considering selling forward Alejandro Garnacho, 20, in the winter transfer window, with Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo emerging as a potential replacement.
According to reports, including the Daily Express, United manager Ruben Amorim is keen on the 25-year-old Cameroon international, who has scored 13 goals in 20 Premier League matches this season.
Brentford’s Thomas Frank has downplayed Mbeumo’s departure, saying, “We love Bryan, and he loves playing here. Nothing will happen in January.”
However, Mbeumo’s contract enters its final year in July, fueling speculation about a summer move.
Garnacho’s reduced role under Amorim and United’s willingness to entertain offers for first-team players suggest significant changes could be ahead at Old Trafford.
