Nigerian international Brown Ideye has opened up about his experience in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), highlighting areas that need improvement.
The former Dynamo Kyiv and Olympiakos striker, who recently joined Enyimba, praised his club but expressed concerns about the overall state of the league.
“The system is getting worse, and the league is not improving,” Ideye said. “Traveling conditions, feeding, accommodation, and player welfare need serious attention. We are not ready for continental competitions until these issues are fixed.”
As one of the NPFL’s most experienced players, Ideye’s remarks underscore the need for reforms to enhance the league’s competitiveness and player experience.
