Liverpool boss Arne Slot has been handed a two-match touchline suspension following his red card in the Merseyside derby against Everton earlier this month.
The Dutchman was sent off after confronting the referee at full-time in a heated 2-2 draw.
The Premier League initially announced the ban before completing a review but later confirmed the decision.
Slot will now be absent from the dugout for Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League fixtures against Newcastle on February 26 and Southampton on March 8.
Adding to Liverpool’s coaching setbacks, assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff has also received a two-match ban.
In their absence, Johnny Heitinga is set to take charge of the team for the Newcastle clash.
Meanwhile, both clubs have been fined for their conduct during the derby, with Liverpool receiving a £65,000 fine, while Everton have been penalized £50,000.
