Mrs. Toritseju Tshayegbe-Sifo Receives Honorary Doctor of Science Degree

Mrs. Toritseju Yotan Tshayegbe-Sifo has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc. Honoris Causa) by the Commonwealth University of Business, Arts & Technology (in conjunction with the London Graduate School).

With over twenty years of distinguished experiences in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector (a combination of eleven years Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance and ten years in Health, Safety and Environment) within both the onshore and deep offshore oil and gas operational areas, Toritseju Tshayegbe-Sifo is a certified Electrical and Instrumentation technician and a process advisor for Repetitive Stress Injury Prevention (RSIP), Behavioral Based Safety, Contractor’s Health, Environment and Safety management, HSE risk assessment, regulatory compliance and Process Safety.


She holds a Master of Business Administration in Health and Safety Leadership from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, Spain, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Chemistry from Edo State University (now Ambrose Alli University) Ekpoma, Edo State Nigeria. Toritseju is an OPITO (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization) Certified in Oil & Gas Operations and Maintenance activities, she extensively pursued professional developmental practices and safety leadership.


As a NEBOSH Certified Safety Professional she actively participates in several Organizational initiatives with exemplary achievements and commitment to workforce Health & Safety, the Academic Council of the Commonwealth University has nobly bestowed upon Mrs. Tshayegbe-Sifo the prestigious honorary degree of the Commonwealth University of Business, Arts & Technology (Conjunction with London Graduate School) and designation of Fellow Commonwealth Academy of Leadership and Management (FCALM).
