Nollywood star and producer Bimbo Ademoye is over the moon as her father makes his first-ever appearance in one of her films. The actress shared a joyful video on Instagram showing her singing and dancing alongside her dad, whom she playfully introduced as her “backup dancer.”
Bimbo revealed that she jokingly promised him a whopping ₦30 billion to feature in her movie, adding that he is now completely hooked on acting. Beaming with pride, the AMVCA-winning actress praised her father’s performance, saying he “did amazingly well” in the project.
“My heart and soul became an actor for me!” she wrote. “You guys, please tell my on-screen papa to watch his back. There’s a new sheriff in town. Dada did amazingly well in M.A.F.H., and he’s excited for you to see him in action.”
She added that the movie’s title and release date will be announced soon, teasing fans with a challenge to guess the title for a chance to win a hug.
Bimbo has always spoken fondly of her father. On his last birthday, she shared a touching video describing him as her hero and best friend, saying there is nothing she wouldn’t do for family.
