Abraham Seals Aston Villa Return in £18m Move
Tammy Abraham has completed a return to Aston Villa after the Premier League club
agreed a reported £18 million deal with Besiktas.
The England striker previously starred for Villa during their 2018-19 promotion
campaign, scoring 25 league goals while on loan from Chelsea, before later joining AS
Roma in 2021.
Abraham had been on loan at Besiktas from Roma, with the Turkish side activating an
£11 million buy option earlier this week, allowing them to sell on the 28-year-old for a
profit.
His arrival strengthens Unai Emery’s attacking options as Villa push on in the Premier
League title race, sitting third in the table, four points behind leaders Arsenal. Villa host
Brentford on Sunday.
