Thousands of Aston Villa F.C. fans flooded the streets of Birmingham on Thursday to
celebrate the club’s Europa League triumph with an open-top bus parade.

Supporters waved flags and lit flares as players and staff travelled from Villa Park to
Centenary Square following Wednesday’s 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg in Istanbul.

The success ended Villa’s 30-year wait for silverware and secured their first
European trophy in 44 years.

Captain John McGinn thanked supporters for standing by the club through difficult
years, while manager Unai Emery dedicated the trophy to the fans.

“Our heart is your heart, your heart is our heart. We are together – up the Villa,”
Emery said.
