Kai Cenat Pays Courtesy Visit to Sanwo-Olu, Eyes Youth-Focused Projects in Lagos

LAGOS — Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received American online streamer and YouTube personality Kai Cenat at the Lagos House, Marina, during a courtesy visit on Wednesday.

Cenat, who is on his second trip to Lagos, shared positive experiences from his visits to the state, expressing excitement about the city’s culture and people. According to Jubril Gawat, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, the influencer is in Lagos to follow up on plans for projects and initiatives targeted at children and young people.

In a post on social media, Gawat said the governor welcomed Cenat and discussed his proposed youth-oriented initiatives, which are expected to support and empower young residents across the state.

Cenat’s visit reflects the growing interest of international creatives and digital personalities in Nigeria’s cultural and social landscape, particularly Lagos, which continues to attract global attention as a hub for entertainment, innovation, and youth engagement.
