Canada Opens Applications for Fully Funded 2026 Scholarships for International Students
The Government of Canada has announced the launch of its fully funded 2026 scholarship programmes for international students, covering Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Diploma, and Certificate studies.
In a statement released on Monday, the programme described the Canadian Government Scholarships 2026 as comprehensive academic funding opportunities for foreign students seeking admission into leading universities and colleges across the country.
According to the announcement, the scholarships are funded by Global Affairs Canada and are designed to support undergraduate and postgraduate students across diverse academic fields.
“The Canadian Government Scholarships 2026 are fully funded academic scholarships for international students who want to study at leading universities and colleges in Canada,” the statement noted, adding that the initiative aims to expand access to quality education and promote global academic collaboration.
The application window for the scholarships will close on March 31, with eligible candidates encouraged to apply before the deadline.
The programme covers a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Health and Medical Sciences, Business and Economics, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences and Public Policy, as well as Natural Sciences and Humanities.
Officials said the scholarships will provide financial support to help international students pursue academic excellence while gaining exposure to Canada’s world-class education system and research environment.
