Afrobeats stars Tems and Burna Boy have set a new milestone on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100, becoming the African artists with the most entries on the chart, surpassing South African rock band Seether.

The record was achieved following their latest chart appearances as featured acts on J. Cole’s album The Fall-Off. “Bounce Road Blues,” featuring Tems and Future, debuted at No. 34, while “Only You,” featuring Burna Boy, entered at No. 78. The new placements bring both artists’ total Billboard Hot 100 entries to eight each.

Tems has also emerged as the African artist with the most Hot 100 entries in 2026 so far, with three appearances this year. The Grammy-winning singer recently made history as the first African female artist to reach seven Billboard Hot 100 entries, a milestone that placed her level with Burna Boy and Seether at the time.

Burna Boy, on his part, extended his dominance on the chart by becoming the first African artist to secure a Billboard Hot 100 entry for six consecutive years, spanning from 2021 to 2026. His charting songs over the years include “Loved By You” (2021), “Last Last” (2022), “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” and “Talibans II” (2023), “Just Like Me” and “We Pray” (2024), “WGFT” (2025), and “Only You” (2026).

The latest achievement further highlights the growing global impact of Afrobeats, as African artists continue to secure mainstream recognition and chart success in the United States music market.
