Arsenal Throw Away Two-Goal Lead in Wolves Collapse.

Arsenal saw a 2-0 advantage slip through their fingers as they were held to a
dramatic draw by bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux, missing the
chance to move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Bukayo Saka marked his new five-year deal in style, ending a 15-game goal drought
with a fifth-minute header from Declan Rice’s cross.
Piero Hincapie doubled the lead in the 56th minute with his first goal for the club,
finishing smartly from Gabriel’s pass as the visitors appeared in full control.
But the game turned swiftly. Hugo Bueno sparked Wolves’ revival with a stunning
curling effort before late drama unfolded in stoppage time.
A mix-up between David Raya and Gabriel allowed teenage debutant Tom Edozie to
fire in a shot that deflected off Riccardo Calafiori and in off the post.
Tempers flared at full-time, and the result leaves Mikel Arteta’s side five points ahead
of Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
It is yet another damaging setback in Arsenal’s bid for a first league title since 2004,
even as they remain alive on multiple fronts this season.
