Bayern Munich moved to the brink of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals
after thrashing Atalanta BC 6-1 in their round-of-16 first leg in Bergamo.
The German giants dominated from the outset, with goals from Josip Stanisic,
Michael Olise, Serge Gnabry, Nicolas Jackson, and Jamal Musiala sealing a
commanding victory.
Atalanta grabbed a late consolation through Mario Pasalic, but the heavy defeat
leaves the Italian side facing an enormous task in the second leg.
