Just a week after Access Bank asserted that there was no missing N500 million from a customer’s account, popular social media influencer Vincent Otse, known as “VeryDarkMan,” has filed a petition against the bank on behalf of a widow, alleging that N500 million is indeed missing.

Access Bank had previously denied any claims of missing funds, stating through its social media channels that it does not engage in unethical practices. The bank emphasized, “First and foremost, we want to highlight that the safety and security of our customers’ funds are top priorities for us. Additionally, Access Bank Plc does not engage in or tolerate any unethical behavior. The allegations regarding missing funds are completely untrue and unfounded. There is no N500 million or any other funds missing from this customer’s account or any other account with us.”
