Arsenal are on the verge of sealing a deal to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke for just over £50 million, with an agreement in principle now in place between the London rivals.

BBC Sport previously reported that personal terms had already been agreed with the 23-year-old England international ahead of his potential move across the capital. Only final details remain before the transfer can be completed.

Madueke is currently with Chelsea at the Club World Cup, where he appeared as a substitute in their 2-0 win over Fluminense to reach the final.

Since joining Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, Madueke has made 92 appearances and scored 20 goals.

He began his career in Tottenham’s academy before spending four and a half years developing in the Netherlands.
