Tuchel Hails England After Serbia Rout in Belgrade

September 10, 2025

Thomas Tuchel praised his England side as “amazing” after they thrashed Serbia 5-0 in Belgrade to take a major step toward World Cup qualification.

Goals from Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi and Marcus Rashford sealed a fifth straight victory for the Three Lions, who sit top of Group K with 13 goals scored and none conceded.

They now need just five points from their final three games to confirm their place at next year’s finals.

Tuchel, under fire for a string of flat performances since succeeding Gareth Southgate, saw his team produce their most convincing display yet.

The German called it the “bar” England must maintain as they chase their first major trophy since 1966.
