World champions Germany booked their place in the EuroBasket 2025 Semi-Finals with a 99-91 win over Slovenia in a thrilling contest that was only settled in the final quarter.

Luka Doncic once again produced a masterclass, pouring in 39 points alongside 10 rebounds and seven assists, but it was not enough to carry Slovenia through.

Support from Klemen Prepelic (13 points) and Gregor Hrovat (11) proved insufficient as the Germans rallied late.

Franz Wagner and Denis Schroder were decisive for Germany, scoring 23 and 20 points respectively to overturn Slovenia’s early momentum.

The Balkans had led 32-21 after the first quarter and were still in front 74-70 heading into the final stretch, but could not withstand the German surge.

Germany now march into the Semi-Finals, where they will face surprise contenders Finland.
