Nigeria will take on Venezuela in an international friendly at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 14, as part of their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The game marks Nigeria’s first outing at the venue and their first return to Houston since a 2-2 draw with Mexico in 2013.

It will be the Super Eagles’ fourth meeting with Venezuela, having won all three previous encounters, including a 3-1 victory in Miami in 2012.

For Nigeria, the clash comes shortly after October’s final CAF World Cup qualifiers, with coach Eric Chelle expected to use it to test his squad depth ahead of AFCON, where they face Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania in Group C.
