Nigeria will arrive in Poland today (Sunday) ahead of their international friendly against the
Polish national team in Warsaw on June 3, as Eric Chelle’s side continue preparations for
the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Super Eagles travel to Europe in confident mood after retaining the Unity Cup title with
a dominant 3-0 win over Jamaica, sealing a record fourth crown in the competition.

However, head coach Eric Chelle has confirmed the absence of two key forwards, with
Ademola Lookman rested after a long season and Victor Osimhen excused to resolve his club
future.

Despite the changes, Nigeria head into the tour with strong momentum following back-to-
back Unity Cup triumphs, including last year’s 4-2 final win over Jamaica in London.

The Polish friendly will serve as another test for Chelle’s evolving squad as they continue
building towards competitive AFCON qualifiers.
