Real Madrid maintained their flawless LaLiga campaign with a commanding 4-1 win over Levante, making it six victories from six to open a season for only the second time since 1987/88.

Levante made a lively start, with Iván Romero and Adrián de la Fuente spurning early chances, but once Real found rhythm, the hosts were ruthlessly exposed.

Vinícius Júnior’s inventive outside-of-the-boot strike broke the deadlock in the 28th minute, before Franco Mastantuono doubled the advantage with a sharp near-post finish on the counter

Levante briefly threatened a comeback after Etta Eyong bundled in a deflected effort, but Kylian Mbappé swiftly restored control with a cheeky Panenka penalty and later added his second by rounding goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.

Los Blancos, denied a late fifth by Vinícius’ missed chip, extend their lead at the top of the table and celebrate four straight away league wins for the first time since May 2024.

Levante, meanwhile, remain in 16th place, with just one home win in their last ten meetings with Madrid.
