Rapper Blaqbonez has soared to the top of Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Songs chart with his latest release, “ACL”, a fiery diss track aimed at fellow rapper Odumodublvck.
The song, featured on his new album “No Excuses”, has quickly become one of the most talked-about tracks in the country, earning praise and criticism alike for its bold lyrics questioning Odumodublvck’s authenticity and street credibility.
Celebrating the milestone, Blaqbonez revealed via X (formerly Twitter) that the first congratulatory call he received after the track hit No. 1 came from a close associate named Fola.
“Fola was the first person to call me to celebrate,” he wrote.
Released amid a growing feud between the two rappers, “ACL” has outperformed fresh releases from top Nigerian artists, including Rema and Ayra Starr, to claim the number one spot.
The rivalry between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck, which began as subtle online jabs and interview remarks, has now escalated into a full-blown lyrical face-off dominating conversations across social media and the Nigerian hip-hop scene.
