Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has addressed the controversy surrounding his missed Paris concert, revealing that the unfortunate incident stemmed from a dispute between his tour agent and the event promoter.

In a detailed statement shared via his Instagram story, the “Buga” hitmaker explained that he was fully prepared to perform but missed his flight after his agent, Olamide Baron, delayed departure in an attempt to resolve payment issues with the show’s promoter.

According to Kizz Daniel, Baron had sold the Paris show to another promoter who allegedly breached their agreement by failing to pay the balance. Despite the setback, the singer said he still arrived at the venue later that night, only to discover that the event had already ended.

He wrote, “First, this wasn’t my fault. Whatever clips y’all are seeing is a beef between the tour agent @olamidebaron and the show promoter. I was paid to perform in full, but the second promoter breached their contract by not paying the balance. We missed the flight while my agent tried to sort the issue. I still came to the venue because I wanted to perform, but unfortunately, it had closed for the night.”

Kizz Daniel also dismissed online claims that he made outrageous requests, such as demanding a luxury car, describing them as “all lies.” He added that he had been using rented cabs throughout his European tour.

Highlighting his commitment to fans, the singer pointed out that he had previously performed in Italy and Sweden, even at late hours, and reassured supporters that he remains ready for upcoming shows in Amsterdam and Cologne.

“Sometimes, e get as e be,” Kizz Daniel concluded, expressing optimism for smoother performances in the days ahead.
