Reality TV star and beauty influencer Symply Tacha has made history after Guinness World Records officially confirmed she shattered two global records in a single attempt, becoming the first Nigerian to achieve such a feat.
The former BBNaija housemate completed 82 makeovers in 8 hours and an impressive 144 makeovers in 24 hours during a rigorous marathon session held in Lagos.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Tacha described the achievement as a divine breakthrough, dedicating the victory to God and her late mother, whose presence she said she felt throughout the challenge. She also praised her team and assistant makeup artists for their unwavering support despite technical setbacks, including power outages and storm disruptions.
“FIRST NIGERIAN TO BREAK 2 RECORDS AT A GO!!! GOD DID IT!!! My mummy in heaven… I felt you holding my shoulders when my knees were shaking,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
Tacha thanked her team for staying steady under pressure and celebrated her fanbase, the Titans, for their loyalty through years of criticism and setbacks, saying their prayers, posts, and encouragement kept her going.
She reflected on the intense preparation behind the scenes — sleepless nights, physical strain, and countless prayers — crediting resilience and grace for carrying her through the demanding challenge.
