LA LIGA CHAMPIONS WRAP UP PERFECT HOME CAMPAIGN.

FC Barcelona completed a perfect home league campaign for the first time since
1959/60 after defeating Real Betis Balompié 3-1 at Camp Nou.

The LaLiga champions dominated early on and took the lead through Raphinha, who
curled a direct free-kick into the bottom corner after Betis had an earlier goal ruled
out for offside.

After a quiet spell in the second half, Raphinha struck again following a dreadful
back pass from Héctor Bellerín, calmly firing low into the net to double Barcelona’s
advantage.

Isco pulled one back from the penalty spot for Betis with 20 minutes remaining, but
João Cancelo sealed the victory with a superb long-range strike late on.

The result ensured Barcelona finished the league season unbeaten at home and
extended their dominance over Betis, recording a 12 th LaLiga win in the last 15
meetings between the two sides.
