David Neres scored twice as Napoli beat Bologna 2-0 to lift the Supercoppa Italiana for the third time in their history at the King Saud University Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
The Partenopei, fresh from a semi-final win over AC Milan, controlled the first half and took the lead six minutes before the break when Neres fired a stunning left-footed strike into the top corner.
Bologna hopes of a response faded early in the second half after a costly mistake at the back, with Neres pouncing to dispossess Jhon Lucumi before dinking the ball over the goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
Napoli managed the game comfortably from there, sealing the trophy and handing Antonio Conte his sixth Supercoppa success, his third as a manager.
