Strasbourg Dump Monaco Out of French Cup.

Strasbourg knocked Monaco out of the French Cup with a 3-1 home win on Thursday,
ending the visitors’ recent revival and booking a place in the quarter-finals.
Martial Godo headed Strasbourg in front inside seven minutes before Julio Enciso
doubled the lead shortly after the break.
Mika Biereth pulled one back for Monaco, but Enciso struck again moments later to
restore Strasbourg’s two-goal cushion and settle the tie.
The defeat halted Monaco’s momentum following recent domestic and European
progress, while Strasbourg made it four wins in five games under Gary O’Neil and will
face second-tier Reims in the last eight.
