Bodo/Glimt extended their impressive Champions League run with a commanding 3-
0 victory over Sporting CP in the first leg of their round of 16 tie at Aspmyra Stadion.
The Norwegian side took the lead in the 32nd minute when Sondre Brunstad Fet
calmly converted a penalty after being fouled in the box.
Ole Didrik Blomberg doubled the advantage before the break with a composed finish
as the hosts dominated the first half.
Sporting improved after the restart but failed to find a way back, and Kasper Hogh
sealed the win by turning home Jens Petter Hauge’s cross.
The result marks a fifth straight Champions League victory for Bodo/Glimt and puts
them firmly on course for a place in the quarterfinals.
