JAMES RODRIGUEZ HOSPITALISED AFTER FRANCE FRIENDLY SCARE.
Colombia captain James Rodriguez was hospitalised for three days with severe
dehydration following the 3-1 friendly defeat to France.
The 34-year-old was substituted after 63 minutes in Maryland, having struggled
during the game, before being taken to the hospital in Minnesota for monitoring and
recovery.
The Colombian federation confirmed the issue was not linked to his recent injury
problems, while his club, Minnesota United, said an update on his availability will
follow.
Rodriguez’s condition raises concerns ahead of Colombia’s World Cup campaign,
where he remains a key figure despite limited game time.
