Real Madrid saw their hopes of closing the gap on Barcelona dented after being held
to a 1-1 draw by Real Betis.
Vinícius Júnior gave Madrid an early lead, finishing from close range after Álvaro
Valles parried a long-range strike from Federico Valverde.
The visitors looked in control for long spells, though stand-in goalkeeper Andriy
Lunin was called into action before the break to preserve the advantage.
Madrid thought they had doubled their lead when Kylian Mbappé volleyed home, but
