The Black Galaxies of Ghana have arrived in Uyo ahead of their decisive 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria’s Home-based Super Eagles.

The second leg clash is set to take place on Saturday by 5pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, with both teams seeking victory after a goalless draw in the first leg in Ghana.

A contingent of 26 players, technical staff, and Ghana Football Association officials traveled aboard a chartered flight to Port Harcourt before completing the journey to Uyo by road.

The team is set to conduct a training session at the stadium later this evening to get familiar with the venue.

Head coach Didi Dramani and his squad are aiming to outplay their Nigerian rivals and secure a spot in the CHAN finals. The Home Eagles, however, are equally determined to seize victory on home soil.

The highly anticipated clash promises to be another chapter in the fierce rivalry between these two West African football powerhouses.
