Juventus manager Thiago Motta expressed frustration after his team’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta on Tuesday, lamenting the club’s growing tally of stalemates this season.

Pierre Kalulu’s opener for Juve was canceled out by Mateo Retegui’s equalizer, leaving the Turin side with their 13th draw of the campaign.

“We can’t be happy with this result. We play to win, and while the effort was there, we weren’t clinical enough,” Motta said.

Despite being unbeaten, Juventus have only 34 points—15 fewer than this time last season.

Motta highlighted the importance of recovering ahead of their next challenge, a clash against AC Milan on Saturday.

He did not confirm the fitness of forward Dusan Vlahovic or rumors of Randal Kolo Muani joining on loan from PSG.

“We’ll evaluate Dusan’s condition; we can’t risk losing him long-term,” Motta added.

Kalulu, who scored Juve’s goal, acknowledged the need for improvement. “The draw overshadows our performance. We need to do more to secure wins,” he said.
