Arsenal FC boss Mikel Arteta has been named Premier League Manager of the
Season after guiding the club to their first league title in 22 years.

Arsenal finished seven points clear of rivals Manchester City to seal a historic
triumph, completing a remarkable rise under Arteta since his arrival in December
2019.

The Spaniard beat competition from Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and
Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris, who also impressed by leading their teams into
European football.

Speaking after lifting the trophy at Crystal Palace on Sunday, Arteta praised the fans
and admitted the success brought both joy and relief after years of hard work
rebuilding the club.

Under the 44-year-old, Arsenal have transformed from a struggling side into one of
England’s dominant forces once again.
