BENFICA ANNOUNCE MOURINHO’S IMPENDING REAL MADRID SWITCH.

Benfica have revealed that José Mourinho is set to leave the club for Real Madrid
after the Spanish giants formally expressed their intention to hire him.

The Portuguese club stated that Real Madrid is prepared to pay €15 million for
Mourinho and the veteran coach has already agreed to the move.

Benfica also confirmed that Marco Silva will take over as manager, paving the way
for Mourinho’s departure.

Although Real Madrid has yet to make an official announcement, the move would
mark Mourinho’s return to the Santiago Bernabéu, where he previously coached
between 2010 and 2013.

The Portuguese tactician is expected to lead Madrid’s bid to end a disappointing run
of two trophyless seasons.
