Popular Nigerian content creator Cute Abiola has reacted to the wave of criticism that followed the release of a deeply personal documentary capturing his wife’s childbirth experience.

The skitmaker, whose real name is Abdulgafar Ahmad, addressed the situation in a post shared on X, where he revealed that he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of emotional responses from viewers. According to him, the YouTube comment section was filled with heartfelt messages, prayers, and personal testimonies from individuals who resonated with the story.

Despite the backlash, Abiola chose not to engage directly with critics. Instead, he highlighted the positive impact the documentary had on many viewers, noting that people openly shared their own struggles, demonstrating empathy, resilience, and solidarity.

He expressed gratitude for the decision to document and share such an intimate moment, stating that vulnerability can serve as a source of encouragement for others facing difficult situations. Abiola emphasized that life is not always perfect, but sharing personal challenges can inspire hope.

The content creator also thanked fans and supporters who reached out with kind words and prayers, adding that he and his family deeply appreciated the gestures of support.

The documentary features emotional and raw scenes of his wife, Khurat, undergoing her third Caesarean section in four years, leading to the safe delivery of their second child.

While many viewers praised the couple for their openness and faith, others questioned the decision to make such a private medical experience public, igniting conversations around privacy boundaries in content creation.

The couple recently welcomed their newborn, with the birth announced earlier this month.
