Tottenham Eye Frank as Postecoglou Future Hangs in Balance

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a move for Brentford boss Thomas Frank as doubts grow over Ange Postecoglou’s future at the club.

Despite leading Spurs to the Europa League semi-finals, Postecoglou’s position remains uncertain following a disappointing Premier League campaign that sees the team languishing in 15th place with just 37 points from 32 games.

Tottenham have suffered 17 league defeats this season, including three in their last four outings.

Reports suggest the club may part ways with the Australian coach at the end of the season, even if he delivers Europa League success and secures Champions League qualification.

Among the names linked with the job are Marco Silva of Fulham, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, and Brentford’s Thomas Frank. Spurs are said to be considering triggering the release clause in Frank’s contract to open talks ahead of the 2025–26 season.

Frank has impressed since taking over at Brentford in 2018, leading the club to Premier League promotion in 2021 and establishing them as a competitive side in the top flight. Brentford are currently 11th and on course for a fifth straight Premier League season.
