ARSENAL CRUISE PAST FULHAM TO EXTEND LEAD AT THE TOP.
Arsenal F.C. moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League after a
dominant 3-0 win over Fulham F.C. at the Emirates Stadium.
Bukayo Saka starred in his first start since returning from injury, setting up Viktor
Gyökeres for the opener before scoring himself before half-time.
Gyökeres then headed home his second of the night in stoppage time to take his
league tally to 21 goals this season.
Arsenal controlled the match throughout, with Mikel Arteta able to rest key players
ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final clash against Atlético de Madrid.
“It was a really good performance,” Arteta said after the win as Arsenal strengthened
their title push.
