Botafogo pulled off a shock 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup, ending the French champions’ six-match winning streak in all competitions.

Igor Jesus struck just before half-time, finishing a swift counter-attack with a deflected effort that wrong-footed Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG dominated early proceedings, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia twice going close, but it was Botafogo who took their chance.

Lucas Beraldo saw a point-blank header saved after the break, while Bradley Barcola had a superb finish ruled out for offside.

Despite mounting pressure, PSG could only register one shot on target in the second half.

The result leaves Group B wide open heading into the final round, with Botafogo now leading both PSG and Atlético Madrid.
