SLOT DEMANDS ‘VERY SPECIAL’ LIVERPOOL DISPLAY AGAINST PSG.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot says his side must deliver a “very special” performance to
overturn a 2-0 deficit against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Liverpool struggled in the first leg in Paris and now face a huge task at Anfield to
reach the semi-finals.
Slot admitted the challenge is steep, stating they need “an exceptional performance
to go to the next round,” but insisted there is a belief his side can “do special things.”
He also called for a stronger showing than in the first leg, stressing the need to be
more aggressive and improve possession, adding that the tie is “more difficult but not
impossible.”
The Reds head into the clash on the back of a morale-boosting win over Fulham, but
elimination would pile further pressure on Slot ahead of a crucial run of games.
