ATLETICO LOOK TO FINISH JOB AGAINST BARCA.
Atletico Madrid will aim to complete the job against FC Barcelona as they defend a
2-0 lead in their Champions League quarter-final second leg.
With a semi-final spot within reach, captain Koke called the clash “a match for our
history books” and insisted his side must treat it “as if it were a final.”
Koke also acknowledged the challenge ahead, noting Barcelona “suffocates you and
put you under pressure,” but stressed Atletico are “raring to go” and “determined to
win the match.”
The midfielder added that reaching the semi-finals again after so many years “would
be incredible,” underlining the stakes for Diego Simeone’s side.
