Como 1907 secured a historic UEFA Champions League place after thrashing the U.S.
Cremonese 4-1 on the final day of the Serie A season.

The result condemned Cremonese to relegation after just one season back in the top
flight, while Como capitalised on AC Milan’s surprise 2-1 home defeat to Cagliari
Calcio to snatch fourth place.

Jesús Rodríguez and Anastasios Douvikas put Como in control before Cremonese
briefly responded through Federico Bonazzoli’s penalty.

But late goals from captain Lucas Da Cunha completed a famous victory for Como, who will now play in Europe for only the second time in their history.
