IVORY COAST STUN FRANCE IN WORLD CUP WARM-UP FRIENDLY.

France’s World Cup preparations suffered a blow as Ivory Coast came from behind
to claim a historic 2-1 victory in Nantes.

Les Bleus dominated much of the first half and took the lead through Rayan Cherki
just before the break, after Kylian Mbappe had earlier been denied by Yahia Fofana.

The visitors responded strongly after halftime, with Guela Doue levelling the score
from a Nicolas Pepe assist before Amad Diallo struck a superb late winner to
complete the comeback.

The result handed Ivory Coast their first-ever victory over France and ended a
disappointing night for Didier Deschamps’ side ahead of the World Cup.
