Fulham secured a 3-1 win over Brighton in a rain-soaked battle at Craven Cottage, with Alex Iwobi led by Alex Iwobi’s brilliance and an unfortunate own goal from Matt O’Riley.
Iwobi pounced early, intercepting a wayward pass from Bart Verbruggen to score just three minutes in.
Brighton leveled after halftime with a stunning 20-yard strike from Carlos Baleba, set up by Joao Pedro’s deft touch.

However, Fulham regained the lead when Andreas Pereira’s corner deflected off O’Riley into his own net.
Iwobi then sealed the deal in the 87th minute with a thunderous second goal, lifting Fulham to sixth place, just a point behind Brighton who missed out on a chance to move to forth on the log.
Up next for Fulham is London derby at home against Arsenal, while Brighton will go away to face Leicester City.
