Hat-Trick Hero Harmony Chidi Fires Flamingos into WAFU B U-17 Semifinals

Harmony Chidi’s brilliant hat-trick propelled Nigeria’s Flamingos to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Ivory Coast, securing their place in the semifinals of the WAFU B U-17 Girls’ Cup in Accra.

Chidi, already a standout with 13 goals in Nigeria’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, ensured her team topped Group B with a perfect six points. 

The Flamingos followed up their dominant 9-0 win over Niger Republic with another commanding performance, boasting 12 goals scored and only two conceded in the group stage.

Next, Nigeria will face Benin Republic in the semifinals, while Ivory Coast takes on hosts Ghana, promising more exciting action in the tournament.
