Morocco came from behind twice to beat Haiti 4-2 in an entertaining Group C clash
on Wednesday, condemning the Caribbean nation to a sixth consecutive World Cup
defeat.

Haiti stunned the Atlas Lions with first-half goals from Lenny Joseph and Wilson
Isidor, but Morocco responded through Achraf Hakimi and Ismael Saibari to level the
scores at 2-2 before the break.

With the top spot in the group still at stake, Morocco stepped up after halftime and
completed the comeback when substitute Soufiane Rahimi found the net before
setting up Gessime Yassine for a stoppage-time goal that sealed the victory.

The result extends Morocco’s unbeaten run to 32 matches in all competitions and
secures their place in the knockout stage as Group C runners-up.

Haiti, already eliminated before kick-off, produced a spirited display but remained
without a point in World Cup history after suffering a sixth defeat in six matches.
