NORWAY FIGHTS BACK TO EARN A DRAW AGAINST MOROCCO.
Norway came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw against Morocco in New Jersey,
thanks to a late equaliser from Martin Ødegaard in their final World Cup warm-up
match.
Morocco took an early lead through Brahim Díaz, who found the net in the eighth
minute after a bright start from the Atlas Lions.
The Norwegians gradually grew into the contest and found a way back with 15
minutes remaining, as Ødegaard finished off a move created by substitute Oscar
Bobb.
Neither side could find a winner in the closing stages, leaving both teams to settle for
a draw ahead of their respective World Cup campaigns.
Morocco remains unbeaten under coach Mohamed Ouahbi, while Norway head into
their first World Cup finals since 1998 with confidence intact.
