SPURS THRASH TIMBERWOLVES TO REACH WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS.

The San Antonio Spurs stormed into the NBA Western Conference Finals with a
dominant 139-109 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Stephon Castle starred with 32 points and 11 rebounds as the Spurs completed the
series win in style after arriving in Minnesota with a 3-2 advantage.

De’Aaron Fox added 21 points, while Victor Wembanyama contributed 19 as San
Antonio led throughout the contest.

“We know it’s going to be tough, but I think we’re pretty confident we can do it,”

Castle said ahead of the Spurs’ showdown with defending champions Oklahoma City
Thunder.

The Spurs pulled away in the third quarter after successfully limiting Anthony
Edwards eventually opening up a huge lead before cruising to victory.

It marks San Antonio’s first appearance in the conference finals since 2017.
