“We Got Her” — Uche Jombo Vows Support for Late Alex Ekubo’s Wife

Popular Nollywood actress and producer Uche Jombo has pledged continued support for the wife of late actor Alex Ekubo following his passing.

In an emotional Instagram post, Jombo revealed that she joined close friends and colleagues in visiting Ekubo’s home, where they spent time reminiscing about the actor with his wife.

According to the actress, the gathering was filled with both tears and laughter, a reflection of Ekubo’s lively and intentional personality.

“As we sat around your wife today talking about you, through the tears came heavy laughter, and I looked around and said … this is so Alex!” she wrote.

Jombo thanked the late actor for the memories, lessons, conversations, and love he shared during his lifetime, describing him as someone who always planned his life with purpose.

She added that although his death had left loved ones heartbroken, they found comfort in believing he was finally free from pain and at peace.

The actress also assured Ekubo’s wife that she would not be alone during the difficult period, declaring, “I’m sure you already know we got her.”
