Barcelona pulled off a dramatic comeback from two goals down to beat Levante 3-2 at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, extending their perfect start to the LaLiga season and securing a ninth straight away league win.

The hosts struck first through Ivan Romero before Jose Luis Morales doubled the lead from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time, leaving Barca staring at defeat.

Hansi Flick’s side responded immediately after the break, with Pedri blasting home from distance before Ferran Torres levelled from a corner.

The visitors continued to pour forward and were eventually rewarded when Lamine Yamal’s cross was diverted into his own net by Unai Elgezabal in stoppage time.

Despite defensive frailties, Barca’s relentless pressure told as they maintained their run of scoring at least twice in 13 of their last 16 league games.

Levante, meanwhile, were denied a first run of three consecutive home wins in four years and remain without a point on their return to the top flight.
