Haaland Crushes United in Derby Demolition

HAALANDD

Erling Haaland ripped Manchester United apart with a devastating second-half brace as Manchester City stormed to a 3-0 victory in the Premier League derby.

Phil Foden set the tone after 18 minutes, nodding in Jeremy Doku’s cross for his seventh strike against United.

But it was Haaland who stole the show after the break, bullying Luke Shaw to dink past Altay Bayındır before ruthlessly slotting home a second to leave United in ruins.

City could have had more, with Tijjani Reijnders and Haaland himself striking wide, while Gianluigi Donnarumma denied Bryan Mbeumo at the other end.

Yet the gulf in class was unmistakable as Pep Guardiola’s men powered back from consecutive defeats.

For United, it was another night of humiliation, just one win in four league games and no answers to Haaland’s firepower. City, meanwhile, look like a side reborn and ready to reignite their title charge.
